PLANNING: Proposing in Lake Tahoe in the winter brings challenges, which is why Wil hired me. After chatting on the phone, I provided Wil with Plan A and Plan B for his proposal to Anahi. I scouted the photo location the day before. I told Wil to park behind my truck and told him what I was wearing, so he could discreetly see me.
PROPOSAL: I posed as a Tahoe tourist taking photos of the sunrise. As they walked closer, Wil asked if I could take a quick photo of them on his phone. As he turned around, he got down on one knee and popped the question. Anahi had NO IDEA it was about to happen and the moment was filled with hysterical happiness. We proceeded to walk around, pop champagne, laugh, and even fed some chickadees. I highly recommend this location for a surprise proposal or engagement photos.
